Just wanted to start off our first blog post with a huge thank you to everyone supporting our journey so far. None of this would have been possible without you guys and I'll always be eternally grateful. So many exciting things are coming from us in the coming months and none of that would have been possible without this support. Kaiten Neko is ran solely by myself (for now) so I really appreciate the patience you've shown me as I'm not the best at creating content as well as running the business (I will get better at it, I promise).
So getting to the point, I have read through all your lovely messages and suggestions left in our suggestion box and 1 really stood out. Drop announcements!
Starting from now, Kaiten Neko will be using this blog page to reveal the full list of items being added to our website ahead of their drop. Each item will be pictured and priced to give you all the best idea of what to expect in the next drop. Honestly, I wish I thought of this idea myself as it took a lot of time and energy replying separately to every comment left on our social media pages (as much as I adore interacting with you all). I plan to release the blog post a few days before the drop but at most (depending on how much I have to process) it will be available to view the night before the drop.
Our next planned drop will be Sunday 31st May 2026. We will be scheduling all drops from now to be the first Sunday of each month unless the last day of the month is a Sunday. We are working up to stocking more still-in-print albums and pre-orders by the end of the year which won't be part of our usual drop format. As well as this, we are entering the photocard game and will be stocking a range of photocards and accessories starting from this upcoming drop. Photocards will be added to the website randomly unless they are ones that are in high demand (such as BigBang or other 2nd gen groups).
If it wasn't obvious already, BigBang are my ult group so I can be a little bias when it comes to looking for new stock for the store. I'm always so grateful for suggestions on other groups you'd like to see when it comes to out-of-print media and would love more suggestions for artists outside of K-pop as we are rooted in being an Southeast and East Asian record shop.
