Kaiten Neko is an East Asian specialist record shop based in Manchester, UK. What sets us apart from your typical record store is that we search far and wide for the best music from East Asia, both new and second-hand. Expect to find genres such as pop, rock, metal, rap and R&B from places like Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Mainland China and Thailand.
Kaiten Neko (kanji: 回転 猫 | hiragana: かいてんねこ) in English, means spinning cat. Our neko has a name and his name is Dio; based off of the store owners cat. Just like Dio, Kaiten Neko wants to bring joy to all the people it encounters and leave you with a positive lasting impression.
Currently, we are only an online store but have plans to open a physical store in the near future (best to sign up to our newsletter to keep in the know (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧ )

What is the return policy?
We have a 28 day return policy in place as long as the item(s) are in the same condition as they were purchased in. The might be some acceptations to this so please get in touch if you are having any issues.
How to do you grade your second-hand items?
Find below how grading system and its criteria:
Excellent (EX) - This is our highest grade as the item is close to mint condition. This usually describes an item that may have been played or handled a few times and has been well looked after.
Very Good (VG) - Usually given to an item that has been used a little more but still well looked after cosmetic damages are naturally found on these items such as scuffs and scratches but doesn't impact the overall quality of the media. This grade can also be used on items that may be missing some inclusions such as photocards or leaflets.
Acceptable (AC) - Our lowest grade given, usually given to items with more defects in comparison to an item labelled Very Good. Defects include, cracked cases, deeper scratches, warping, creases and missing items. We very rarely use this grade and that is usually reflected in the price. Most AC graded items will typically be found in our discount section.
Do you offer a trade-in service?
Currently, we do not offer this service but plan to in the near future.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
